Subject: Payment
Hi Name,
Sorry for the delay in writing you, my dad had a triple bypass operation on
Tuesday and it's been a very nervous period for my family and I. Thanks to
God he is awake today and responding well to treatment.
Have you received the payment from my head-office? Payment was sent by
Maurice Lieberman (UNICEF senior finance officer). Just to let you know, I
have received a copy of the payment memorandum from my office stating all my
holiday allowance was sent to you. Apparently Mr. Lieberman wasn't quite
sure of the exchange rate between US Dollars and Euros as such he sent you
all my holiday allowance.
Upon receipt, please cash the payment at your Bank, deduct your payment for
the rent ?375 and send the balance to my travel agent via Western Union
Money Transfer in order to book my flight ASAP & pay-off my father's
hospital bills. I will arrive on the 4th of April.
Here is my travel agent's info to send my balance via Western Union:
Name: Amanda Jones.
Street: 46, Forest Hill Road.
City: London.
Post Code: SE22 0RR.
Country: United Kingdom.
Western Union will attract charges for sending, please deduct it from my
side and send the rest. Here is a Western Union outlet close to your end
where you can have my balance sent to my travel agent (I was given the
address of this outlet when I went to the Western Union outlet across my
office this morning):

Dear Name,
Sorry for the delay in writing you, my Dad suffered a stroke last week
and his condition is critical. He is unconscious and on life support
at the moment. I'm just coming from the hospital and I haven't had
time for anything else. The doctors say it's really bad and I pray to
God that he survives this.
Just to let you know your payment is on the way. My finance officer
left a message for me, saying payment has been mailed to you. You
should receive it next-week at the latest. Do kindly let me know once
it arrives.
Many thanks,
Christopher Grant

Dear Christopher
I came back from the U.S.
yesterday. I haven't found
a payment receipt from your office.
Will you please
inform me about it.
I'll be at home until March 29 and then I'll be again a few days
away. It's highly recommended that I receive it before the
departure. The latest date to get the money transferred is
April 1.
After this date your reservation won't be secured any more.
Hope everything's going to be all right.
Best wishes

Dear Name,
Like I have mentioned my company in the US pays for my expenses
and our form of payments are only through internationa money
order, any of these cheques are fully paid for and cashable at
your local banks. You needn't worry about the bank charges as the
bank charges shall be included into the payment.
Thanks,
Christopher

Hi
That is OK with your staying here. You're most wellcome.. I just
wonder about the payment. I'd appreciate if you can pay this
amount in cash upon your arrival here. The reason is in the
banks' charges that are sometimes very expensive.
I'd appreciate if you can handle this with your office.
Thank you
Best wishes

Hello Name,
Many thanks for your cordial message and sorry for the delay in
getting back to you, I have been extremely busy these past few
days. Anyway, I'm glad to hear you have availability covering
the period of my stay. I'll take the double bedroom at 375 euros
for 15 nights and I'll pay you in full to hold it.
Pertaining to payment, UNICEF pays for my flight, accommodation
and holiday expenses, so payment will be sent to you from our US
office. I will instruct our finance department to send you an
International Money Order on my behalf covering the total cost
of my stay. You will receive payment by post and for this, I
would need your Full name, Address and Telephone number to have
payment mailed to you asap.
I've been looking forward to this trip for a long while; I do
hope it will meet my expectation. Thank you and I look forward
to a wonderful holiday.
Best regards,
Christopher Grant
