1 hour from either Toulouse or Carcassonne airports, The Beech Room or Lafitte Room at St Victor du Fau are situated in a rural and peaceful location yet only 10 minutes from the nearest bars & restaurants.

The medieval towns of Pamiers, Foix & Mirepoix are a 10, 15 & 30 minute drive respectively.

Situated in the heart of the Cathar country, there are many places of historical interest nearby for the discerning traveller.

Our guests are very welcome to use the 12m x 6m swimming pool and the 50 acres of grassland & woodland surrounding the farm. There are views from the land over rolling hilss towards the Pyreneen mountain range. Within an hour you could be on the ski slopes of Ax-Bonascre or Les Monts D'Olmes, both in the Ariege. Andorra is a 2 hour drive south.

Continental breakfast is included in the room price. Full English or European breakfasts are available a little extra per person. In-house catering for lunch or dinner is also available.

Driving Directions: Full directions are available by email or fax from either Toulouse or Carcassonne airports or locally. Please ask for these on booking. The autoroute of the A66 (south from Toulouse towards Andorra) is an easy 10 minute drive from St Victor du Fau.

Local Area Attractions: Medieval towns of Pamiers & Mirepoix. There is a prehistoric museum and grotto at Mas D'Azil (one of the largest grottos in the world). Many Cathar castles within 30 minutes. Wonderful walking in the Pyrenees, kayaking, canyoning and other outdoor river pursuits.
