Built on a hillside in an elevated position, 'Strathearn' offers panoramic views across over Loch Greshornish and further distant across The Minch to the Western Isles, some 12 miles away.
We offer B&B accommodation in a choice of 3 ensuite bedrooms (2 double and 1 twin).

At the side of the property, guests are welcome to use our sun porch which contains a selection of books and games. The sun porch and all the guest bedrooms command magnificent views over the loch.

Situated in the small crofting township of Kildonan, the house offers peace and tranquility to those who seek it.

We are approximately 10 minutes drive from Portree and Dunvegan. Ideal tour exploring in all directions!

Dunvegan is famed for its ancient castle (the seat of the Clan McLeod), and boasts several shops. Portree (the island capital) has a selection of supermarkets, newsagents, banks, post office and cinema etc, and most everyday requirements can be purchased there. There is also a doctors surgery, hospital and a dispensing chemist.

We have several good restaurants within a 10 minute drive of 'Strathearn', with locally caught seafood a speciality, delivered fresh daily. Dunvegan and Portree have a selection of restaurants, bars and hotels.
