Conveniently located just 5 minutes walk from the city centre and 10 minutes walk from York racecourse, Bay Tree Guest House is a Victorian town house that has been converted to offer bed and breakfast accommodation in five rooms. Single, double and triple rooms are available, all tastefully decorated and well-equipped with colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Free parking is available for guests. At the Bay Tree Guest House, you can start your day with a hearty English breakfast or choose the continental or lighter options; all cooked to order and made using locally produced ingredients. Vegetarian breakfasts are also available. The guest house is run by the resident owners, Andrew and Clare, who offer a friendly and personal service to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Children are welcome at all times and a travel cot and high chair can be provided on request. Andrew and Clare have lived in York for a number of years and can help you plan your stay with information and advice on what to see and do in and around York. There is a wealth of visitor information, leaflets and guidebooks available in the guest house for you to read, so you can make your visit as action-packed or as relaxed as you want. To make your stay a special occasion, we can arrange extras for your arrival including flowers, wine, champagne, chocolates and fruit bowls.
