The house is situated to the east of Chester on the A51. It is about half way between the town centre and the A55 dual carriageway, being less than a mile from each, and is easily reached from the train and bus stations. A number of buses run past the house into Chester and to outlying towns and villages.
The house is informal and friendly, and the accommodation is clean, tidy and comfortable. It has recently been awarded 3 Diamond grading. This followed the making of a TV progamme about the house, at the end of July 2005. The programme will be aired on January 30 2006, on BBC2, at 3.30 pm, and is called "B & B the Best".
