Monks Court Bed & Breakfast is a comfortable family house in a quiet location on the edge of the beautiful Oxfordshire village of East Hendred near Wantage in Oxfordshire.

Monks Court is strictly Non-Smoking in all rooms.
Monks Court is surrounded by a mature garden and there is a heated swimming pool for use in the summer months.
The bedrooms are on the ground floor, one twin with a private shower room and one double, also with a private shower room. There is a further double available but this is only used when all three rooms are taken by the same party as the shower rooms would have to be shared. All rooms have colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Children of all ages are welcome but please bring a cot for a baby. Well-behaved dogs (with their own beds) are also welcome.
A traditional English breakfast is served in an attractive dining room on the 1st floor from 7 am to 9 am. A continental or vegetarian option is available on request.
Guests at Monks Court Bed and Breakfast will find that there are three excellent pubs in the village, The Wheatsheaf , The Plough and The Eyston Arms. The Eyston Arms has just been extensively refurbished and has been receiving rave reviews in the press for its excellent food. All the pubs are approx. a 5-minute walk. There is also The Hare on the main road to Wantage. The extremely well stocked village shop is open 7 days a week from 7am to 7 pm.
East Hendred, near Wantage, Oxfordshire is a former medieval market town and a former important centre for wool and cloth trade before Henry VIII's reign. There are a number of Tudor houses and a 12th century Manor House which has been lived in by the same family since 1443. A small museum, in a converted chapel, is open on Sundays.
