Mike and Brenda welcome you to their lovingly restored Listed Cottage, parts of which date back to the 16th Century. Among the many features within their home are a wealth of oak beams and two large Inglenook fireplaces creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. There is also a large mature garden and a patio for the guests to use if required. Situated in the village of High Halden, which is between Ashford and Tenterden on the A28, the cottage is ideally located for exploring the Kent and Sussex countryside as well as the many historic towns and coastal areas. Whatever interest, be it Castles, Churches, Cathedrals, Gardens, Steam Railways, Zoos, Golf courses, Sport Centres, Vineyards, Museums or beautiful country walks, these are all situated locally. There is easy access to London by road via the M20 and Ashford International Railway Station for London or Eurostar (Paris) is only a twenty-minute car journey away. Both the Channel Tunnel terminal at Folkestone and the Dover Ports are less than one hour drive away. |
