Welcome to the Twin Gables Bed and Breakfast, located in the Skamokawa Historic District in SW Washington State. We anticipate opening in the Summer of 2007, We feature comfortable queen beds, private shower baths, and a full breakfast. With sheltered access to the lower Columbia River, Skamokawa is an ideal base for fishing, kayaking and canoeing for all skill levels. Please check back for details of accomodations and specials.

Cancellation Policy: More than 7 days, full refund. Less than 7 days: one nights room rate unless we re-let the room

Breakfast: Full breakfast, starting with a first course of fruit salad, yoghurt or cold cereal and milk, with choice of juice, coffee or tea. Followed by a hot course of an egg dish, with cottage fried potatoes, bacon or sausage and home made toast and jam.

Driving Directions: Interstate 5 to Longview, Washington, then State Route 4 westward 35 miles to Skamokawa.

Local Area Attractions: Fishing, hunting, canoe and kayaking. Hiking, biking on the quiet, traffic free Julia Butler Hansen Refuge for the Columbia Whitetail Deer. Hobie Cat regatta, Wahkiakum County Fair, Redmen Hall Riverlife Interpretive Center, Skamokawa Vista Park.

Onsite Activities: Small weddings, showers and teas. Catered meetings for up to 10. Welcome tea and cookies for guests, turn down service available, We do laundry!
