ARCHES LODGE at Ridgeland Farm Estate is an oasis of calm waiting for you “away from the madding crowd”. 20 kms east from Whangarei CBD, Northland, New Zealand, this 4 bedroom country house * is located on the scenic Owhiwa Road - Mt Tiger route which links Whangarei Heads to the Tutukaka Coast.

Filled with charm and style, your rural retreat - Arches Lodge, is situated on a working South Suffolk Sheep stud farm which overlooks hundreds of acres of native bush lands, with views out to Mt Manaia and the coast. Once you have checked out Arches welcoming and comfortable accommodation a multitude of nearby attractions and facilities beckon. For example - the nearest golf course is only a five minute drive away as is the closest of many lovely harbour and coastal beaches

One suite boasts 3x super KING or twin bedrooms, open lounge, dingin & kitchen, all opening onto a covered deck and expansive views over property. Fully equipped Kitchen & Laundry.

The 'motel' suite can sleep 3-6 very comfortably and offers an easy access entrance and en suite.

Onsite Activities: Relax on the deck, or cook up a storm in the kitchen. Interact with docile sheep in their natural undomesticated environment, discover exquisite native timber in our conservation block. Pururi Trees blown over 80years ago - with new life thriving - almost fantasy scenes! ** Concerning our 'pets' on the property - no - not really, but we do have 100 tame sheep - all behind fences, and 1x tame turkey named Harold!

Seasonal Info: Spring - August, September, October = LAMBS !! often hand fed.
