Directions: When you arrive in Peachland, look for large golf ball on golf tee advertising Ponderosa Golf Course. Turn there, Ponderosa Drive, go to fifth driveway on right. Sign out front. |
Local Area
Attractions: Okanagan Lake with swimming, water sports, sailing. Peachland is in the centre of wine country and many excellent golf courses. Eight-sided Baptist Church, now a museum, Parrot Island, a parrot sanctuary for homeless birds, Pincushion Mountain, a climb to a breathless view of the valley, Hardy Falls, an easy walk over bridges leading to the falls, our local restaurants, pubs, shops and wonderful, friendly people. |
