Bruckless House is an attractive 18th century Classical house with a traditional cobbled farmyard. It is set in 18 acres of parkland which border Bruckless Bay, with spacious informal award-winning gardens of the Robinsonian kind, and mature woodland. Connemara Ponies are bred here and can be seen in the parkland and grazing down to the shore-line. The House, built about 1745, is comfortably furnished with an oriental flavour as the Evans family has spent many years in Hong Kong. The spacious drawing room and elegant dining room have splendid views over the front lawns towards the sea. There are four bedrooms, one twin en suite; a double and two singlerooms. All these bedrooms are in close proximity to one another and are very suitable for a single family/group. |
