Welcome to Lake Avenue House, a purpose built family run Bed and Breakfast set amongst the Lakeland’s of North West Cavan.
Lake Avenue House is situated on a quiet country boreen on the shores of beautiful Templeport Lake. Built in a part of Ireland that remains unspoilt in its natural beauty, Lake Avenue House offers you the opportunity to stay in a unique part of Ireland.
Locally this area is rich in History, Culture and Heritage. You can explore the “Tullyhaw Heritage Trail” which enables you to visit such well known sites as St Mogue’s Island, St Peter’s Church and The Killycluggan Stone. For those interested in Genealogical Research we promise to help you in every way we can. Other attractions include The Marble Arch Caves, Florencecourt House, and The Shannon Pot.
We are situated off the N87, 2 hours from Dublin/Belfast. Ballyconnell 6km, offers a wide range of top class restaurants and pubs. On the outskirts of Ballyconnell is the Slieve Russell Hotel with its 18 hole championship golf course.
Lake Avenue House prides itself on its excellent service and attention to detail. Relax on arrival in our guest sitting room and sample some of Catherine's complimentary home cooking with tea or coffee.

Driving Directions: Off Route N87.Sign posted from Bawnboy village. At the petrol pumps in Bawnboy go left up the hill. Follow that road approx. three quarters of a mile the road will fork, keep left. Go approx. 1 mile watch out for signs on your left, St. Peters Church, Lake Avenue House. Take that road to your right.
