The Gekkenhuis is located at the back of Waikanae Golf Course only 800m to tranquil Waikanae Beach.

We offer two well appointed suites including plunger coffee/tea making facilities, microwave, toaster, fridge, CD/stereo, TV/DVD, couch, heater, table & chairs and water filter.

Both rooms have a private bathroom, outdoor living and extensive continental breakfast provisions including home-made yoghart and bread.

Picnics, nibbles and dinner provided on request.

Driving Directions: Turn off State Highway 1: From south - turn left at Waikanae lights (5 mins north of Paraparaumu) and follow Te Moana Rd past the golf club. Via right at fork then follow signs "To SH1 North". Turn right off Rutherford Drive into Freyberg Crescent. From north - turn right into Peka Peka Road (5 mins south of Otaki). Follow signs "To SH1 South". Turn left off Rutherford Drive into Freyberg Crescent
