HISTORIC Bed and Breakfast accommodation situated in a delightful sunny rural area just 10 minutes from Queenstown, 5 minutes to Airport & central to all attractions and amenities. The Guesthouse has a delightful guest lounge/dining room with huge log burner and is comfortable & old worldly.

It offers a pictorial history dating back to 1868 a kitchen granny would have been proud of and delightful cottage gardens. Accommodation consists of 2 units: a Double with ensuite bathroom and a Double with private bathroom. The 2nd unit can also be taken as a Family Unit - 1 Double & 1 twin with share B/room, or you can book the Whole Guest House exclusively for a group. Owners accommodation is completely separate although Glenys is always available to help with information and booking service and enjoys helping guests to make the most of their stay in Queenstown.

Cancellation Policy: We only have 2 units and late cancellations affect us significantly. We therefore require 7 days notice of cancellation or payment in full.

We have pets. Children are welcome.

Driving Directions: From Roundabout at Frankton Take SH6 towards Arrowtown, approx 6 klms. After crossing the Shotover River proceed to top of hill, turn left into Lower Shotover Road and immediately left into Spence road.

Local Area Attractions: Skiing, Tramping, Jet Boating, Wine Tours, Garden Tours, Bungy Jumping, Sky Diving, Fishing, Horse Riding and most other things you can think of.

Onsite Activities: Local walk along the Shotover River, friendly Springer Spaniel - Buckley - to show you the way. He also loves to swim, play and fetch sticks. When it is hot you can swim in the river and the cottage gardens are great to relax with a book or just to listen to the birds.

Seasonal Info: Christmas and New Year, and July to October have minimum night stays and may show as 'NO AVAILABILITY' however for bookings within 3-4 days of arrival we may be able to take bookings of 1 night. Please contact for confirmation.
