ReviewsReview of House of Wood
Date of Stay: 2008-05-01 This was one of the highlights of our visit to New Zealand. We loved the wood clad rooms, our hosts were very friendly, the food was great and the views from the balcony were to die for! Definitely recommend this as a place to stay for all those visiting Te Anau and Milford Sound. Ratings (1=Poor; 5=Excellent)Rooms: 5 Facilities: 5 Service: 5 Value: 5 Overall: 5

Te Anau was the highlight of our stay in NZ. The House of Wood was a suberb accommodation. It is close to town, but quiet and secluded. Merle was so accommodating, informative and an excellent host. We would highly recommend the House of Wood to anyone lucky enough to stay in Te Anau.
