South Claragh Country Accommodation  

Guest accommodation in our charming centrally-heated farmhouse consists of two ensuite rooms one with a shower the other is a deluxe room which has a cast iron claw foot bath which can accommodate two people.
Both rooms have their own private entrance and their own private decking area overlooking our lucious gardens which cover three acres surrounding the farmhouse.
Coffee and tea making facilities are in both rooms as are tv/dvd players,which we have a large selection of titles free of charge.
A fully cooked English breakfast is cooked in our country kitchen for you to enjoy either in our dining room or outside on the patio beneath our glorious wisteria.
Further light meals and snacks can be provided by prior arrangement.A bbq is available for guests use on the patio.

Bird Cottage.
If you would like to be a bit more independant why not stay in our charming 1950s cottage nestled amongst the trees in its own little forest.It is very secluded and access is down its own leafy track way through the forest.
The cottage is fully self contained and has 1 double bed and a bed settee in the lounge if more accommodation is needed.
There is a heated outdoor spa pool for cottage guests only(fee applies).A bbq is available at the cottage also.

Breakfast: A full English breakfast is served along with fruit,cereal,toast,yoghurt and juices.

Driving Directions: Leaving Taupo town centre on the Rotorua rd you will ascend a long hill the first turning on the left says Acacia bay we are the next left which is Poihipi rd. We are situated at the end of the road where it meets a T junction. We are the last property on the left about 10 metres from the junction

Local Area Attractions: We are centrally located for many varied activities.We have possibly the best trout fishing in the world also if you are into hunting you will find no shortage of hunting trips which can be arranged. There is also various water sports arround Lake Taupo yachting,skiing,swimming and canoeing. Also the local area is covered with forests and many good walks are available.One notable forest is only 10 minutes from us which is the Pureora which is famous for its walks and views at the summit

Onsite Activities: Strolling through our beautiful grounds,we have 10 acres including 3 acres of garden. Enjoy our animals,our 2 donkeys Holly & Jacob our Higland Cattle Dolly,Bonnie and Connor and not forgetting our farm cat Seamus. We have 3 lambs and 4 calves also. And now we have to add our latest additions our two Maltese cross puppies Bear and Dougall.
