Cloudgap is a new luxury romantic retreat for couples only. It is set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens in a tranquil rural setting within 150 acres of peaceful bushland close to Orange.
The guest premises are new and each of its three rooms includes a king-size bed with a spacious double hydrotherapy spa ensuite that adjoins private balcony areas overlooking the garden. Reverse cycle air-conditioning provides ultimate comfort in all seasons. A full breakfast is served in the dining room at guests' choice of time. Guests can relax in guest lounge or take a walk through the garden.

Not As Described...Stay Clear

When we arrived at Cloud Gap we were shocked to find the rooms were part of the owners residence and that they were only a Wall thickness away from the Romance Room.
The owners wanted to drink a few wines outside the windows of the rooms and at that stage we realised the place wasnt that private at all and decided not to ckeck in.
When we informed the owners(who were on the wine) they told us too bd...we had to pay anyway. When we informed them that the property wasnt as described and we werent staying or paying they informed us that "THEY HAD OUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND COULD CHARGE WHAT THEY WANT". We told them that they didnt have our authorisation to do so and left.
This is when the owners locked the electronic gate and we couldnt get out. After a while we got out only to find that they CHARGED OUR CREDIT CARD THE FULL RATE.

We rang the owners today and asked to get our money credited back and were told that "IT WAS UP TO US TO TRY AND GET IT BACK"

Take my advice and STAY CLEAR.
