We are centrally located at the top of Kangaroo Bluff in Bellerive only seven minutes drive to the CBD of Hobart and fifteen minutes to the airport. You can also travel to the CBD and surrounds by bus or ferry that depart the Bluff on the hour.

Check in time is 2.00pm but if you are travelling from interstate you are welcome to drop off your luggage while you explore your surroundings. A five minute walk will bring you to our great beach, historic fort and Bellerive International Cricket Ground. A five minute walk the other way and you will find yourself in Bellerive Village with the Boardwalk, marina and ferries. Eating is great in the village either by special arrangement at our local Yacht Club in their dining room overlooking the marina and Kangaroo Bay or Thai at Dajoh's. A new french bakery Jean Pascal and an Asian restaurant have just opened and are very popular. The local pub also has a very good bistro meal. The local fish bar on the beach has very good eat in or take away meals or the local fish punt has fresh fish available.

Breakfast: A great breakfast of our signature dish of homemade muesli, seasonal fruit, yoghurt, Tasmanian cold pressed apple juice, orange juice made in Tas followed by eggs done anyway you like with bacon, roasted tomatoes, mushrooms and wilted spinach or scrambled

Driving Directions: From Hobart airport roundabout continue on Highway A3 for 11.5 km's. Take the 2nd "B33" signed turnoff on the left to Bellerive/Rosny Park. Continue down Rosny Hill Road through the lights and follow the signs to Bellerive (B33). Turn right at the round-about and you will be in Cambridge Road. Keep to the right hand lane and follow Cambridge Road under the walkway overpass signed Bellerive Village, past the Yacht Club and continue through the traffic lights into Bellerive Village. Follow the road through the village past the hotel and along the waterfront. Turn left into King Street where there is a sign directing you to Bluff Lodge Bed & Breakfast. Local Area Attractions: Tasmania’s international cricket ground is a few minutes walk in one direction, while the waterfront Bellerive Village is a short stroll the other way. Meander the clifftop along the Bluff for amazing views of Hobart across the Derwent River, and enjoy views of majestic Mount Wellington from local beaches. Other activities include: a ferry ride from the nearby terminal to Saturday’s Salamanca Market; a chat with local yachties or a meal at Bellerive Yacht Club while you check out the local vessels moored at Kangaroo Bay Marina; lazy times in the Royal Botanical Gardens, including a taste of the Antarctic in the Sub-Antarctic Plant House; temptations for the taste buds on a Cadbury Chocolate Factory tour, Cascade Brewery Tour or a visit to the Island Fudge factory at the historic South Hobart Women’s Factory; a view from high above, at the summit of Mount Wellington, 1270 metres above sea level, just 25 minutes easy drive - unique in Australia; shopping at the nearby Eastlands Shopping Centre or retail therapy in the city or the many art and craft galleries at Salamanca Place; a trip to the Coal River Valley wine district to meet the people behind the scenes at boutique wineries and at Meadowbank Estate, where wine and art make a cosy marriage; or a journey into the strength of the human spirit on the convict trail to Port Arthur Historic Site, enjoying the stunning coastal formations of the Tasman National Park along the way.
