Local Area Attractions: Providing a true rural French way of life and unspoilt by tourism, there are empty roads, brilliant night skies, abundance of wild life, inexpensive excellent village restaurants and wonderful local produce markets. There is so much to discover in this ' undiscovered 'part of France. The immediate area offers fishing, canoeing, walking, horse riding, rock climbing and mountain biking in the beautiful river gorge 10 mins away, an international go-karting track, and a quiet little village with rural bar and small supermarket. All shopping and leisure needs are met in the nearby town of Argenton Chateau. A short car ride will take you to the famous Puy du Fou, the fantastic natural zoo in Doue la Fontaine, Troglodyte villages, Loire valley and Saumur. A little further La Rochelle and the coast, Futuroscope, and the Loire Chateaux.
