Fusion is perhaps the best word to describe the Fernmark Inn on the Sapphire Coast (Bega Valley). This is no ordinary B&B. It’s a fusion of aesthetic luxury with a tranquil harmony. It’s also a fusion of cultures. Each of the four rooms in the guest house evokes a particular country or region. There’s Africa, India, Thailand and the Middle East. The cultures are depicted not only by the décor but by the very construction and shape of the room. The Middle East Room for example has a white domed ceiling and enough hues to blue to conjure the sounds of an ud and the smells of felafel (this room is also wheelchair accessible). Africa on the other hand, is earthy with seriously solid timber doors and windows. Cocoon yourself in India or Thailand and you are immediately transported to the exotic best of those places. Each of the four rooms has a private bathroom and outdoor space. And all rooms lead to a luxury lounge and a small reading space that looks onto a quiet courtyard.
Our self contained Studio room - the Ocean Room is just gorgeous - cosy with everything you need as far as kitchen, lounge bathroom goes. Considering all this is on 90 acres of fantastic bush, with horses roaming - you'll just love it here.
