Akane Log Home Bed and Breakfast provides accommodations in a quiet country setting in the Haliburton Highlands. With access to Lake Miskwabi it's perfect for a romantic getaway or a cozy overnight with the family.

Located near the village of Haliburton, you can do what your heart desires. From hiking, mountain biking, swimming, golfing or fishing in the summer to downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice fishing and snowmobiling in the winter. Shopping, touring art studios to just reading and relaxing during any part of the year are other options. There are endless possibilities!

Breakfast: A full breakfast is served In the mornings, we will entice you with a delicious home-cooked breakfast made of eggs, pancakes or waffles and seasonal fruits. Juice and coffee or tea is also served. Our breakfasts are made to get your day started right!!!

Driving Directions: We are located about 15 minutes east of the Village of Haliburton off Hwy 118. 1. From Hwy 118 go north on Trappers Trail Road. 2. Stay to the right as the road veers right, go up a steep hill and look for the Wampum Road sign. 3. Turn left onto Wampum Road and look for a hidden driveway sign as you go over a hill. Our Bed and Breakfast is just over the crest of the hill on your right.
