Local Area
Attractions: El Gastor, known as "the balcony of the white villages", is a beautiful traditional village with white washed walls and balconies adorned with flowers. Just above the shores of Lake Grazalema and on the edge of the Grazalema Natural Park, the surrounding scenery is breathtaking and is perfect for walking, birdwatching, horse riding, cycling and for many other outdoor activities. Its central location - just 20 minutes from the historic town of Ronda and 1 hour from Jerez, Cadiz, Seville, Marbella and Malaga - make it the perfect base for sightseeing and also for the many house hunters that are discovering the affordable properties in the area.
The village itself has several shops, banks, a health centre and many tapas bars. The olympic size village swimming pool is open during the summer months and its bar/restaurant is open all year round.
