Petts Wood Lodge is a charming two storey English Tudor style residence with an old world character. It is nestled in a tranquil setting with a willow lined stream running through the garden. Idyllic self-contained apartment accommodation in a peaceful garden setting is perfect for a couple or a couple and one child. This delightful bed and breakfast in the leafy eastern suburb of Burnside at the base of the Adelaide foothills offers the accommodation, comforts and services of the city combined with the tranquility of country living.

There is a choice of two fully self-contained retreats adjoining the main residence, each having a private outside entrance. The Garden Suite for up to 3 persons and the Attic Suite for up to 2 persons.

Fresh flowers, fruit, chocolates, port, an assortment of books, games, CDs and DVDs are some of the treats in store for guests. A BBQ and a cot are available for guests use. Provisions for generous continental breakfast can be included in the tariff.

A garden setting by the creek or the quiet garden courtyard is the ideal place to enjoy your continental breakfast, a glass of wine or read a paper on a warm summer evening. The secret garden offers a cool place to relax in summer, while reading a book. The garden is home to many birds and possum families. The creek provides a myriad of birds not found in the usual suburban garden, ducks, kookaburras, owls can all be found hunting along the creek.

Petts Wood Lodge's self contained bed and breakfast apartments are just 10 minutes from the heart of Adelaide and are very close to a bus route into the city, with the bus stop being just over the road.

Petts Wood Lodge is 15 km from the airport and is close to restaurants, shops, historic Beaumont House, the Beaumont Common and numerous walking trails in the Mount Lofty Conservation Park. A short drive will take you to the Adelaide Hills, dotted with picturesque villages, wineries and wild life parks.
