EXCLUSIVE VINEYARD STAY
The 38 acre Barossa Shiraz Estate vineyard has evolved with the history of the Barossa. The 1840s homestead, originally a Cobb and Co stage coach, has been developed into two stunning self contained cottages, The Residence and The Willows.
Described in Vine and Orchards of South Australia (1920s), “the view from the veranda is very beautiful, looking west, north, and east, over valleys and hills, and vineyards and orchards, and the picturesque scenery is of a type of which one would never tire.” A sensitive blend of history and luxury, has transformed the homestead to one of the finest B&Bs in South Australia.

THE RESIDENCE
The building displays the elegance of its rich past with tall 12ft ceilings, fine furnishings and decorated in grand style, close to wineries and opposite the wonderful Chateau Barossa Rose Garden. The Residence has a large open fire, polished floors, leadlight windows, and a gorgeous master bedroom with luxurious ensuite featuring a large Oval Spa for 2. providing modern kitchen facilities, r/c air conditioning, TV, DVD and CD units. Indulge in a truly delightful escape.

RESIDENCE BEDROOM & BATHROOM:

Residence has an elegant queen bedroom with ornamental wooden bed, an ensuite with stunning spa for two, a ceiling shower, a separate spacious glass frame shower, and double sink.
A double sofa bed is also available in the lounge if you wish to book extra close family or friends.

Pressed white linen, towels and hairdryer provided.

FOOD & DRINK PROVISIONS (Residence Min 2 nights stay):
"A bottle of the Estate's WINE and welcoming AFTERNOON TEA on arrival. Breakfast provisions to be prepared by the guests will include: EGGS, BACON, MUSHROOM, TOMATOES, and a selection of CEREALS.
In addition:
BREAD, ORANGE JUICE, LOW FAT MILK or FULL CREAM MILK, a selection of JAMS, BUTTER, PLUNGER COFFEE, INSTANT COFFEE, fine assortment of TEAS, and BISCUITS".

To maintain a high standard of food hygiene, individually sealed supply packages will be provided where possible.

THE WILLOWS
Circa 1847, the building provides a taste of Barossa history and the surrounding vineyard offers a glorious vantage point from where you can enjoy views across the Barossa to the Ranges beyond. This stunning property combines the charm of its past with the comfort of modern convenience, pressed metal ceilings, timber floors, fine furnishings, and all the comforts of a cozy home. Featuring 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a stunning spa with views into the Barossa vineyards.

WILLOWS BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:

Bedroom 1: has an antique brass queen bed, an ensuite with stunning spa overlooking the vineyards, and a ceiling shower.
Bedroom 2: has two single beds convertible to king size with window overlooking the vineyards.
Bedroom 3: Featuring heritage slanted ceiling has a brass queen bed and ensuite with spacious glass frame shower.

Driving Directions: Barossa Shiraz Estate is on Barossa Valley Way, opposite Cheateau Barossa Rose Garden. The entrance is approximately 12.5km from the T-junction of Murray Street and Barossa Valley Highway in Gawler, or if travelling from the east it is 1.7 km from the junction of Gilbert Street and Barossa Valley Highway in Lyndoch. The Residence entrance is at the front of the property and The Willows entrance follows the drive way to the second porch.
