Historic stone country house set in over four acres of ancient olive groves with breathtaking panoramic views of the valley, distant medieval towns on hilltops, Monte Conero and the Adriatic Sea.

The house retains many original features such as original internal stone walls, oak beamed and hand made tiled ceilings and original floors. Furnished with a selection of oil paintings and antiques to complement the age of the house.

Guests have a choice of two beautifully individually designed character rooms both with their own entrances on the ground floor of the house.

Room service snacks from 3 euros and private dining with seasonal suppers at 10 euros and dinners from 16 euros available.

Driving Directions: Il sorger del sole is located between the villages of Avenale and Troviggiano. Approximately 15 minutes drive from the city of Macerata.

Local Area Attractions: Open air opera in Macerata in July and August. Local lake and water park 10 minutes drive. Festas, markets throughout the year. Wine tasting and olive picking. The Riviera del Conero on the Adriatic coast. Loreto, Urbino, the Sibillini mountains etc.

Onsite Activities: Olive picking in November. Walking, bird watching, wildlife and relaxing in the grounds.
