The Summit Rainforest Retreat, offers a luxurious 4 bedroom Atherton Tablelands holiday house, for you and your groups private indulgence. The Summit Rainforest Retreat is located in the Cairns Highlands, also known as the Atherton Tablelands, in Far North Queensland, Australia. The retreat is situated on the summit of an extinct volcano and commands the highest point in Atherton. You will love the tranquil rainforest setting with its 180 degree panoramic views. Walk through the rainforest to the centre of the crater, enjoy an "in house" massage or relax by the pool whilst you sip a cool drink.. Peace and tranquillity is assured on over 2 hectares of land, the house boasts a huge entertainment deck and you'll delight in the abundant native wildlife at your doorstep...birds, wallabies, pademelons, bandicoots, possums and tree kangaroos to name a few. The Summit Rainforest Retreat, is a luxury 4 bedroom holiday house, which can sleep up to 12 persons, (soon to be 16). Ideal for couples, families, groups, multiple couples, weddings, conferences etc. The Summit Rainforest Retreat is unique, in its quality, the number of guests it can cater for, its position and the native fauna & flora that surrounds it. An exceptional holiday house on the Atherton Tablelands. 1-4 persons is $400 AUD/night, each additional person is charged $40 /night extra. |

Why Visit?
The "Tablelands" has a beautiful temperate climate, which makes it a January to December Destination. Avoid the rush, and come in the " Low Season " (Dec-April), the climate is comfortable, free of coastal humidity but still accessible to those coastal areas. Alternatively, come in the " High Season " (July-Nov), and feel the warmth of our "Tropical" sun. A three minute drive, brings you to Hastie Swamp, a Two level bird hide that views thousands of birds in their natural habitat, or visit Crystal Caves in the Main Street of Atherton. Mt Mulligan Escarpment is a must see. The region also hosts a number of antique and arts & craft shops, as well as art studio's & galleries.
