: Kerry and Kay, Zippy our little dog, three cats and tame sheep welcome you to Calico Lodge. Set amidst the wineries of Matua, Westbrook, Nobilos, Coopers, Soljans, and many more, 30 minutes NW of Auckland our modern home on four acres has beautiful trees and tranquil gardens. Nearby are many wedding venues – Gracehill, Markovina, and Rivermill. Muriwai's black sand surf beach, golf course and renowned gannet colony are only 20 minutes away. Hand made teddy bears and patchwork quilting (for sale) adorn the bedrooms in separate guest wing with private entrance. Heated towel rails, heaters, hairdryers, robes, fresh flowers and amenities complete the bathrooms, ensuite, private or guest share. A guest lounge with TV, fridge tea and coffee opens onto a private deck with peace and beautiful bush views completing the picture. Two minutes from SH 16 and Kumeu village we love to share our little piece of paradise. |
