Braemar House is a quality historic restored homestead, which is situated alongside the banks of the Wanganui River. The paddle steamer passes daily in front of the Homestead. Experience luxury living as it was in yesteryear and enjoy our personal in-house service.

Breakfast: Breakfast comprises Fresh Fruit, stewed fruit, Yoghurts, cereals, wholemeal breakded toast, freshly ground Coffee, freshly made selections of teas, Orange juice, selections of homemade jams and spreads.

Driving Directions: From the south take the state highway four turnoff to national park, proceed along the river and take the city bridge. Tuyrn right and lights and proceed quarter kilometre till you come to the Homestead

Local Area Attractions: Paddle Steamer. Famous mail run picks up from front door. Close to the Museum and art gallery. 6 kilometres from coast

Onsite Activities: Bar-B-que during summer. Sun Loungers and sub tropical gardens to laze in. Restaurant approx 600 metres away.
