Bed and Breakfast (B&B) accomodation in this beautiful 18th Century Manoir, offering spectacular views of the river and surrounding countryside from its several terraces. Gourmet restaurants are close by offering affordable excellent quality french cuisine.
Ideal for shorter or medium stays or if you just want to wine and dine every evening in the local restaurants, bars and hotels and don't want to do the cooking. Breakfast is served in the main dining area for B&B guests, which includes both continental and/or english breakfasts. Other meals are available upon request.

For longer stays and family holidays Gite accomodation is also available on a weekly basis (Saturday - Saturday) with access to the large swimming pool. Bicycles, table-tennis, fishing and conoeing are provided to guests. The gite is a self catering 2 bedroom cottage with fully equiped kitchen, large living area and large bathroom with bath/shower, wash basin and toilet. There are also 2 terraces, BBQ facilities and a utility room with washing machine and storage.

The village has many local amenities including 2 restaurants, a small shop, a bakery and a cafe/bar. There are several hypermarkets just 5km away in Prayssac which also hosts a fabulous market of local produce every Friday.

Driving Directions: Directions from Paris From Paris you will have to take the A10 motorway which goes south to Orleans, then the A71 motorway to Vierzon, then the A20 to Chateauroux, Limoges, Brive, and Cahors. Take exit Cahors Nord and follow signs to Cahors. You will arrive at a roundabout as soon as you get to the outskirts of Cahors, go right (D811/D911) towards Villeneuve-sur-Lot, Prayssac, etc. Once you get to Castelfranc, you want the 2nd Albas turning on the left. Go over Castelfranc bridge and at the end of the road turn left. As you enter Albas take the first left turn signposted Pech del Gall, and Brasserie L'Esplanade. You pass the bar on the right carry on up the hill, La Carriere is the first house on the left overlooking the river. Directions from Toulouse Airport (Blagnac) When you leave the airport stay in the right lane - follow signs to Bordeaux, Agen, (Paris) and join the A62 motorway. You take a ticket at the peage and carry on until you see a sign for Montauban, Limoges and Paris (A20) which takes you off the peage (costs 2.20 Euros). Stay in the left lane leaving the peage - direction Montauban, Limoges and Paris (A20). Continue on the road which is the route nationale (N20, E9), bypassing Montauban reaching the new motorway (A20, E9) to Cahors. You take a ticket at the peage and carry on until you see a sign for Cahors and Villeneuve sur Lot (Exit 58) which will take you off the peage (costs 2.90 Euros). Follow signs to Cahors, and carry on until you pass Intersport and Carrefour Supermarket on your left and at the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit towards Villeneuve sur Lot and Brive. Go along that road through the outcrops and over a long bridge. Either...... take the first exit (on your right) if you would like to drive through vineyards following the river Lot. Take a left at the first set of lights signposted Luzech and Pradines, straight through the 2nd lights and that road takes you winding through vineyards all the way to Albas, through Douelle and Luzech - it's a nicer route to take than the D811. Or....... carry on over a bridge to the roundabout and 3rd exit onto the D811/D911(left at the roundabout) towards Villeneuve sur Lot and straight on until you get to Castelfranc (about 25 min drive) and take the 2nd left (2nd Albas turning) at the bridge at Castelfranc and follow signs to Albas. Directions in Albas Our house is on the lower road by the river between the Restaurant du Port and The Bar L'Esplanade (signposted "La Carriere" from both ends of the village).
