Bed& breakfast and half-board accommodation in the Pyrenees. Based in a recently renovated 300 year old house, in the heart of the traditional mountain village of Bareges, high in the Pyrenees mountains. Spacious en-suite bedrooms, sauna, equipment room, dining room, lounge and patio garden with mountain views. Evening meals are available, with a delicious French-style menu and local specialities. Open all year-round. Your hosts, Rob and Emma, are qualified Mountain Leaders and are available for guided walking and multi-activity holidays. Winter activities include snowshoeing and skiing in the Tourmalet (Bareges-La Mongie) resort - the largest in the French Pyrenees. Bareges is set in stunning mountain countryside and has all facilities on-hand (shops, bars, restaurants, outdoor pool and thermal spa).

Breakfast: A generous continental breakfast buffet with cereals, freshly-baked French bread and croissants, jams and honey, yoghurts, fruit, coffee, teas and orange juice.

Driving Directions: From Tarbes or Pau, follow signs for Lourdes then Argeles-Gazost. At Argeles, take the new bypass following signs for Luz-St. Sauveur. In the centre of Luz, turn left for Bareges. Parking is available to the front of our house, or in the main village carpark opposite.

Local Area Attractions: Mountain activities including hiking, cycling, mountain biking, white water rafting, canyoning, paragliding, caving, via ferrata, skiing, snowshoeing, ice-climbing, back-country skiing. Pic du Midi observatory. Pilgrimage town of Lourdes. Cirque du Gavarnie - UNESCO World Heritage site.
