Surrounded on 3 sides by the Kahurangi National Park, the property is set amongst 100 acres of regenerating native bush and streams, with several bushwalks that get you close to nature.
The eco-friendly cottage is fully solar-powered (electricity and hot water), backed up by a small generator and a wetback. Facilities include a wood range, gas heater, gas cooker and gas fridge. 15 min. to Takaka and beaches, private gravel access (suitable for 2-wheel-drive, not for very low-riding vehicles). The perfect base to explore Golden Bay, including Pupu Springs, West Coast beaches, Farewell Spit and famous walks, such as the Abel Tasman National Park and Heaphy Track. Or just enjoy the enchanted birdlife and spectacular views and simply RELAX! |
