Charming Creek B&B is a new beachfront architect-designed beachstay. Its setting is spectacular: in the middle of three picturesque seaside villages; minutes from beachside cafes, potteries and arts and crafts; right next to the start of the beautiful Charming Creek walkway one of the top five daywalks in the South Island )easy grade)and, close to the best sea and river fishing and bicycle trails on the Northern West Coast.
We are just 20 minutes north of Westport, the capital of the Buller Region, the northern west coast, on a fast, straight road; just 15 minutes from the world famous Denniston Incline experience; at the base of Kahurangi National Park, home to the Heaphy and Wangapeka walking tracks; and under an hour to Karamea, the Oparara wetlands and the honeycomb cave systems.

Accommodation consists of three luxury ensuite bathroom suites with french doors opening on to sundecks and garden, looking out to the ocean. Separate private guest lounge/dining with kitchenette, fridge, espresso machine,gas/log fire, reading library etc. Free wireless internet, DVD movies, and parking.

Driving Directions: From Westport's main street, turn right on Brougham St (State Highway 67) to Karamea. Watch for seaside village called Granity - Ngakawau is the next village. We are 24 Main Road (SH67) - sign outside.

Local Area Attractions: Walkways, swimming, rock climbing, horse trekking, rafting, kayaking, fresh and ocean fishing, jetskiing down turbulent rivers, caving, blackwater rafting,arts and crafts, mine experiences, wildlife viewing (seals, rare dolphins etc, whitebaiting and eeling in season, hunting (duck and game), scenic flights, beach quad biking, biking, museums, interesting cafes and great coffee.

Onsite Activities: Ocean-edge relaxation area with shade huts, springwater hot tub, wood fire, private access to beach.
