Enjoy the delights of country village living from the haven of your own self contained cottage, the Top of the Range Retreat at Guyra. Here you can enjoy total privacy or enjoy the company and hospitality and company of your hosts Tanya and David Kilpatrick.

The cottage just has been totally renovated with chocolate tones, polished wood floors and feature walls that will provide a warm welcome in winter and cool retreat in summer. Two wood slow combustion fires and a reverse cycle air-conditioner ensure you are comfortable all year round. Combining traditional styles and tones with very modern conveniences, the cottage has every thing you desire for a luxurious retreat. Sooth away your tensions in the two person spa; be warmed and rejuvenated in the sauna; enjoy luxurious lie-ins cocooned in the rich cotton sheets of the queen size beds.

With all the comforts of home and more, Top of the Range Retreat is perfect for both a romantic weekend away or a long term stay in Guyra. The kitchen is beautifully appointed and there is also a laundry complete with dryer, washing machine and iron.

You can enjoy the stunning sites of the New England region, or relax and indulge in simple pleasures like sinking into the leather lounge by the fire with a hot chocolate, enjoying your favourite movie or music.

Here on business or visiting the University of New England? The cottage has a work station complete with Broadband access for your laptop. The large dining room is also a great space to spread out your papers and work in comfort. Faxing and photocopying are available on request.

Attending UNE residential schools? Why not share with a friend and turn the long study week into a holiday. In Guyra you will experience peace and a relaxed pace of living that is a rare thing these days. Armidale is less than 30 minutes easy drive away.

The master bedroom features a television and en suite bathroom, the second bedroom has a romantic four poster bed and also a day bed that can sleep two, so the cottage can accommodate up to 6 people. The second bathroom contains the two person spa.

Of course there are all the little touches of luxury like quality toiletries, cosy bathrobes, hairdryers, great coffee and a selection of teas, generous breakfast provisions featuring fresh local produce.

Why not have a BBQ out on the deck and enjoy the novel country village experience of a rural outlook from the back garden. You may even be able to entice David over to entertain you with a strum on his guitar.

It is just a short stroll to the shops and cafes of Guyra’s main street, and an excellent base from which to explore the New England region, enjoy a round of golf, go trout fishing or fossicking, or simply relax and watch the sun set.
