Alloggi Barbaria is located in a quiet neighbourhood, in the city of Venice. The B&B is located near the Fondamente Nove and this is part of its charm; you don't feel any of the mass tourist pressure here.

Alloggi Barbaria is proudly run by Giorgio and Fausto, since September 2002. This property is an ideal starting point for visiting the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. It’s only a ten minute walk from St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge, and a few steps from the monumental church of St. John and Paul.

The B&B is easy to reach from either the Marco Polo International Airport (as it is only a 7 minute walk along the waterfront to the hotel from Fondamente Nove water bus station) or the train station and Piazzale Roma car parking.

Alloggi Barbaria is conveniently located only 200 m from “Ospedale” public waterbus stop which saves you from carrying bags through the streets of Venice to get to the hotel. It’s only 100 m. from both a supermarket and an internet cafe.

A platform stair lift for the disabled has recently been installed. This B&B offers a friendly and homey atmosphere to its guests who are invited to enjoy the terrace where they can relax and have breakfast in the open air during the warm months. The staff is extremely caring and is at your entire disposal in order to make your stay a memorable one.

All of the simple but spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms have a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, direct - dial telephone, minibar, colour TV, air conditioning, independent heating, and safe. Many of the rooms have satellite TV as well.

Directions from Treviso Airport: Take Atvo bus public transportation to Venice (please check timetable at www.atvo.it ) and get off at Piazzale Roma. Take vaporetto #52 waterbus public transportation (please check timetable at www.actv.it ) to "Ospedale" stop. Turn left as you get off the boat, (do not enter into the hospital), and continue walking until you can go no further. Turn right down Calle delle Cappuccine to #6573 (Castello). Our property is located on the left side of the alley. Directions from Santa Lucia railway station or from Piazzale Roma car parking: Take vaporetto #52 waterbus public transportation, (please check timetable at www.actv.it ) to “Ospedale” stop. Turn left as you get off the boat, (do not enter into the hospital), and continue walking until you can go no further. Turn right down Calle delle Cappuccine to #6573 (Castello).
