A combination of character and modern amenities, the style of decor is English country with interesting pictures, furniture and artifacts collected by the owners.

Breakfast is served each morning in the elegant dining room - white damask cloths on tables, gentle music and all you could want to eat including freshly cut fruit salad (changes daily but typically pineapple, blueberries, assorted melon, banana, kiwi), fruit juices, cafetiere coffee, English breakfast tea, hot chocolate, toast and full English (sausages, bacon, tomato, hash brown, mushrooms, egg to order: fried, poached, scrambled). Eggs are from our local farm.

Breakfast: A full breakfast is served Freshly cut fruit salad, toast, croissants, pain chocolat, cereals, full cooked English breakfast (fresh local farm eggs), tea,(Earl Grey, breakfast, green) coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juices.

Driving Directions: From Bath take A4 eastwards. Take A46 then B363 Bradford on Avon. After first roundabout, Clifton House is on the left before the church.

Onsite Activities: You can enjoy the garden (weather permitting) and also use the guest drawing room to read, listen to music or play piano. There are numerous books, magazines and daily papers to read and in winter the fire is lit producing a wonderful environment and that evocative aroma of woodsmoke. We have free Wi-fi for your laptop.
