ReviewsLuxurious, romantic B&B in a beautiful area
Date of Stay: 2008-06-01 My husband and I stayed at Dale and Jo View Suites this spring of 2008.
First of all, the Inn is absolutely beautiful. We stayed on the 3rd floor in the "Spa Room". The Suite was very spacious, with enough space for me and my husband to read, watch television or just enjoy the views of the Alaskan Range and Rivers without sound being an issue. The room was very quiet. The bathroom is very large and luxurious. It had a large walk-in shower that was big enough for two people (!) and a large soaking tub, also perfect for 2. The floor was heated, which made it very nice first thing in the morning. This may seem like a small thing to some, but one of the things about this Inn I loved the most was the clean water every time I took a bath. We have really bad water back home, and this was such a treat for me.
Breakfast was out of this world! I love how this Inn serves breakfast. The food was to die for and we loved being able to take it up to our room. We actually looked forward to breakfast each morning.
When we arrived, the innkeepers, Dale and Jo, gave us restaurant recommendations and some great ideas as to what we might enjoy doing in the area during our stay. Dale and Jo were great innkeepers! We left feeling very much like they are old friend Ratings (1=Poor; 5=Excellent)Rooms: 5 Facilities: 5 Service: 5 Value: 5 Overall: 5 These reviews are not the opinions of Pillows and Pancakes |
