Driving Directions: From Auckland take State Highway (SH1) on the Southern Motorway to Pokeno, turn left onto State Highway 2 (SH2) and follow the signs to Thames via State Highway 25 (SH25). Just after travelling across a long, traffic light controlled, one way bridge, you reach Kopu. Turn left following the sign to Thames. Just before reaching the Thames Airfield, turn right into Maramarahi Road - Cotswold Cottage is on the right hand side after the road makes a right turn. From Cotswold Cottage it is just 5 minutes to Thames township and the perfect base for visiting all the Coromandel Peninsula attractions.
