Ashby House Bed & Breakfast  

Our Heritage designated home is an urban retreat with over 10,000 books (including one we wrote), antiques, art, linen, crystal and an English cottage garden in the heart of Vancouver's West End. We offer hospitality, comfortable rooms, excellent home cooking and over 40 years of insider knowledge.. Our home is across the street from Nelson Park and the Heritage Houses of MoleHill, yet only a 5 min. walk to Robson St. and a 10-15 min. walk to Stanley Park, English Bay or Downtown.
Ashby House was built in 1899, lovingly restored by our family, Heritage designated, licenced and inspected by the City of Vancouver. We do not provide television but we do have telephone, fax and internet should you need it. The perfect place to relax by the fire, read your favourite book or take a nap.

Cancellation Policy: 72 hours

We have pets. Children are welcome.

Breakfast: A full breakfast is served Breakfast is a leisurely affair with homecooked, locally sourced and organic products where possible. We are known for our breakfasts which vary depending on the season and the whims of the cook and her guests.

Driving Directions: From Granville St, turn left on Symthe, left on Thurlow, right on Nelson and right on Bute St. Stop and come in and we'll show you the off-street parking.

Local Area Attractions: Stanley Park, English bay and other beaches, Robson St.shopping, 130 restaurants, Canada Place, Gastown, Yaletown, Chinatown, Granville Island, The Granville Street Entertainment District, Nelson Park, Roedde House Museum, The Vancouver Art Gallery, The Orpheun Theatre, The Queen Elizabeth Theatre, the Vancouver Public Library and lots more.

Onsite Activities: reading, napping, petting Mac, the scotty or Sampson, the cat, watching the world stroll by or engaging in converstion.
