"Our 1891 Victorian is just a block and a half from the Parliament Buildings on a quiet residential street. Within a couple of blocks are Victoria's best museums, restaurants and parks.The decor is interesing and eclectic: a harmonious melding of Victorian architecture, original contemporary paintings and sculpture. Twelve-foot ceilings and numerous fireplaces set off hand-knotted Persian carpets on hardwood floors, lovely stained glass and lush house plants. The gardens are full of flowers and 100 year old fruit and willow trees. And, need we add, your hosts are full of helpful advice on enjoying the charming city of Victoria to the fullest. Full breakfast in our grand dining room. Tea and coffee makings in each guest room" |
