Driving Directions: Take Highway 14 toward Sooke; after Kangaroo Road you will see a sign a mile further on saying, Entering Sooke Fire Protection District, turn left at the next Rd, Connie Road and proceed to the fifth house on the right. This is the cottage, with driveway leading to green wooden gate. The next driveway on the right is for Lilac House, go up, over bridge, and straight ahead to the right (ie, not small house on the left).

Local Area Attractions: 1/2 mile from Historic Pub with excellent fare; Galloping Goose Trail, Sooke Potholes; Matheson Lake; Pacific Marine Trail; East Sooke Park nearby; 30 minutes from all the sights of Victoria; 15 minutes from Sooke town or Langford town, with movie theatre and all commercial amenities.
