Garrison House Inn  

"The historic Garrison House sits across from Fort Anne National Site in the town center and has bedded and fed guests since it first opened in 1854. Flowers make the inn welcoming, and the rooms are nicely appointed with period antiques and whimsical local folk art, There's air-conditioning provided in all the bedrooms as well as cable tv/dvd and private bathrooms . Rooms 1 & 2 are very appealing, with wide pine floors, large braided rugs, and views of the Fort and sunsets. Room 7 is tucked in the back of the house having two openable skylights and a Georgian demi-lune window to let in a wonderfully dappled light. Room 4 has a large hot tub and a private deck facing west. In addition to the well known and highly praised restaurant , a screened-in veranda serves food(specializing in fish and lobster). Fully licensed with a thoughtful wine list. All private bathrooms recently renovated. Breakfast and dinner served daily.

Breakfast: We serve a variety of items for our guests. Full & continental as well as fruits, and our lovely baked goods. We try to purchase organic items wherever possible(ie our eggs. flour etc). Individual tables for each room.

Driving Directions: Take Exit 22 from Highway 101, 5 minutes to Annapolis Royal. We are opposite Fort Anne National Historic Site
