Hillsdale House Inn  

"The Hillsdale House was built in 1859 by Susan Foster as an Inn and has catered to many famous people including King George V, Lord Tweedsmuir (Governor General of Canada) and MacKenzie King, former Prime Minister of Canada; and to this day the tradition continues. Let your hosts Val and Paul treat you to some of the finer things in life. When our guests arrive they are made to feel quite at home. Our 13 guest rooms are all individually decorated with antiques, many with 4 poster beds and all have private en-suite baths. Relax in one of our 3 parlors, all beautifully appointed with mid Victorian period antiques. The Hillsdale House is set on 12 acres with mature trees, manicurred lawns and fine gardens. Stroll around the grounds then leisurely watch the sunset from one of our two comfortable verandahs. Treat yourself in the morning to freshly ground coffee and a full cooked breakfast, including Hillsdale's homemade breads, jams served to you in our elegant formal dining room.
