"The Bayside Inn is Digby's only surviving Inn remaining in continuous operation since the late 1800's. The Inn has had many improvements over the years, yet still maintains it's original character & uniqueness. During the turn of the century Digby offered approximately 14 such hotels and Inns to the weary traveler. Originally built as a hotel (approx. 45 feet wide and 70 feet long in a 3 story structure) the Bayside Inn is pleasingly spacious with very private guest rooms. The Bayside Inn is directly facing the bay with no obstruction. Enjoy a relaxing stroll through our quaint town for banking, shopping or a delicious seafood meal. The Bayside Inn is situated in a great location being with-in 30 minutes of Digby Neck & Islands, Annapolis Royal and The French Acadian Shore. Site seeing & history all at hand. At the end of your day enjoy watching the moon rise over the bay, and in the morning the colors of the sun rising over the bay are breathtaking. A great beginning or end to any day. The 11 guest rooms each have a TV, and most have private baths. Breakfast is served between 7:30-9:30am in the guest dining room. Romantic bay side stroll to shopping and restaurants." |
