Originally built in mid-1800's as a summer home for the Premier of Nova Scotia and given to the Sisters of Charity for a Convent, our elegant and comfortable rooms feature private ensuite baths and are furnished with antiques and original art. Kayak or canoe in the shelter of the bay, or explore one of the nearby, uninhabited islands with gull rookeries, and secluded coves. Numerous nature trails on the cliffs along the coast provide opportunities for hiking and bird or whale watching, accompanied by a stunning view of the sunset. Meals include gourmet breakfasts featuring home-baked goods and evening live East Coast Music in the Great Room. Driving Directions: From Halifax International airport: drive south on Hwy 102 20 minutes toward Halifax. Take exit 2B to Hwy 103 & Hwy 333 toward Peggy's Cove. Take Exit 1A to Hwy 333 toward Peggy's Cove. Drive 10 minutes on Hwy 333. Pass Mabel's Fruit & Veggie Market (large carrots & apple sign). The water is now on your left. Around the corner is a sign to turn left to Prospect. Turn Left (see our huge blue sign on the corner). Follow this Prospect Bay Road for about 10 minutes. See the panoramic view of the Village. Continue down into the Village, cross the 2 small bridges, big white Catholic Church on the left, pass the church hall and drive between the huge granite boulders. Immediately, look and turn left to Prospect Village Bed and Breakfast - welcome home!
