Built in the 1850s the house is conveniently located 80 km west of Toronto just off of the QEW and right at the start of Niagara's 20 km wine route on the outskirts of Grimsby and roughly 30 minutes drive from the U.S. border. The eclectic Victorian style greets you in every room of this home decorated with style and humor, filled with curios and antiques from around the world during their travels. The house abounds with a romantic past. Just ask your hosts,there are many stories!The area was a battle route during the War of 1812.A gin distillery during prohabition and a Brothel in the 30s. A Scarlet O'Hara style staircase guides you to your cozy room just waiting for you. Travel the countryside that sits below the Niagara escarpment providing a phenomenal colorful display of vineyards orchards and wineries."
