Annie's Inn  

"We welcome you to stay with us any time of the year. We, Anne and Howard Schutt, would love to share our home and the beautiful wonders of the Ottawa Valley with you. Located at the edge of the village of Killaloe, just off highway 60, Annies Inn is perfectly situated for explorations of the Valley. We are 200 km west of Ottawa, 330 km north-east of Toronto, and less than an hour away from five different access points to Algonquin Park, including the East Gate on highway 60 and the lesser-known but spectacularly beautiful Eastern Pines area. Closer to home, you may choose to canoe from Killaloe to Golden Lake, along peaceful Brennan's Creek. Alternatively, a boat launch is only five minutes away. From it you can explore the Bonnechere River or beautiful Golden Lake. Our wooded 30 acre estate features a pond in the middle, with nature trails throughout. The abandoned railway that borders the property is now an all-season trail for hikers and snowmobilers alike. This trail can be accessed from our parking lot. We encourage you to come by snowmobile or atv and spend the night with us. Our home features five guest rooms, all with ensuite baths. On the main level we have a large formal living room, formal dining room, eat-in kitchen, preparation kitchen, and two of the guest rooms. These guest rooms are completely wheel chair accessible from the drive-up, circular driveway. The J. R. Booth suite features a whirlpool tub. A winding oak staircase leads to the lower level and to the outdoors. On this level are two more guest rooms, an efficiency suite, and an informal sitting area. The efficiency suite features one bedroom with ensuite 4-piece bath, an equipped kitchenette, living area with pull out couch, and private access - plus a great view of the pond! The other two guest rooms share a private entrance from the Florida room and have a view of the pond and light house. Guests love relaxing in their own rooms while staying at the Inn. All rooms have cable television and are non smoking. The recently added upper sun deck and lower-level screened Florida room are both designated smoking areas.
