Welcome to the Rogers-Harrison House Bed and Breakfast in the historic town of Niagara on the Lake. The first home was built on this site by John and Mary Rogers circa 1792. Upper Canada's first capital was burned during the war of 1812 along with most of our town which was then known as Newark but has now been renamed Niagara on the Lake. The house was rebuilt by the Rogers family circa 1817 and was occupied by direct descendants of John and Mary Rogers until the spring of 1995. T he Rogers family was a prominent family throughout the history of the both the town of Niagara on the Lake and the Niagara region in general."
