"The fifteen room Barachois (Bar-a-shwa) Inn was originally a Victorian Country House built in 1880 for local merchant, Joseph Gallant. Mr. Gallant was a man of considerable importance in his community which is reflected in the house he built. Enjoy an evening walk on the Gulf shore or curl up with a book in the living room.
