Hayden's Wexford House  

"This magnificent ancestral house is located at the foot of the Plains of Abraham, on the shore of the St. Lawrence River. Located in the Cap Blanc district of Old Quebec, Hayden's Wexford House is classified as World Heritage by Unesco. This home was constructed in 1832 by James Hayden, originally from Wexford in Ireland. The house became an inn, as James Hayden, merchant, trader, sailor, and innkeeper, lodged several of his sailors for many years. The original name of the house has been conserved on its facade. Its character of yesteryear having been preserved outside and in, this inn has rediscovered, 160 years later, its original function. Today, Hayden's Wexford House serves as a Bed and Breakfast which welcomes and plays host to visitors from around the world. Hayden's Wexford House is strictly for non-smokers; no smoking is permitted in or around the premises. Please inquire before bringing children. No pets are in the house and guests are not permitted to bring pets"
