Upon entering the inn's expansive living room you notice fine woodwork throughout: beautiful Mexican mahogany doors and crown moldings, gleaming oak floors, an elegantly proportioned staircase. There are many special areas throughout the inn where you may gather with others or savor a bit of solitude. In the wonderful gardens you may find one of the innkeepers cutting herbs for the kitchen or flowers for your room. Inside, on a chilly desert evening, a wonderfully aromatic mesquite fire crackles in the hearth of the living room. Catalina Park Inn is superbly located on a quiet residential street in Tucson's West University Historic District . Within blocks are the University of Arizona and the eclectic shops and cafés of Fourth Avenue and University Boulevard . We are close enough to the major boulevards to make traveling to attractions in all direction convenient. Guestrooms are smartly appointed sanctuaries of privacy that combine time-tested standards with modern conveniences. There are six guest rooms in all: four in the main residence and two in a detached cottage that open to the walled courtyard.
